You have been lied to

It is time to stop the lies and stand up.

Stop waiting for someone to give you approval, give you permission. It’s 32 days until the end of 2020. This year has been one of fear, confusion, growth, setbacks and slowdowns, and much uncertainty.

We have heard the word NO enough this year for a lifetime.

Why in the world would you want to see how many people would tell you to know in one day, or a week, or month in your business?

STOP going for NO!!

When I talk to people about a product I expect them to say yes. I would not be talking to them about products if I didn’t think it would help them for an issue they had mentioned.

The energy around the word no… and programming your brain to expect a no is what you will get. I am programmed for yes and referrals.
As they say “What you think about you bring about.” Let’s bring about some yeses.
No is only a reality if you focus on it. Master the art of your words. Stop using trick words or trick stories. Stop being slimy – be you. {I hope that doesn’t mean you are slimy.}

Fake it until you make it

Ugh… stop it… just no.

I am not faking what I am living. Share your story. If you are building a business there are more people who are going to relate to you if you share your stories ups and downs. People are turned off by the big house, fast cars and pictures of cash. That is so 2010.

They want to know how to build a business not follow your bragging photos.

I have been in business for 10 years and it has not all been pretty. I have sat on stages for success panels, spoke at events, received awards, hit milestones and fell off the rank, made the millionaire club and much more.

Under all of those amazing things were failures, skinned knees and late nights.
There is no faking it. It’s simply celebrating each hard step. I do my best to keep you from making the same mistakes I did… even though some people like to do things the hard way.

Be very careful with the small lies we tell ourself and others. Your mind hears them all.

Let people see and hear your journey.

Be honest. Let people see what you are doing.

I had a person I know to speak about being perfect on her podcast. Muting out breathing sounds, making it flawless. We as humans are not flawless. We stutter. We make mistakes, we don’t do things perfectly.

I stopped trying to be perfect. The truth will build your trust and they will love you for being real.
Let people come along with you. Let them see the good – the bad – the ugly. I have never said the business was easy. I have always said you CAN do this if you are coachable.

Some people are amazing customers because that is all they want to be and share referrals from time to time.

People have said “Quit while you are head” – ugh excuse me there is no quitting. I know what the life I had behind me looks like. I want more. I am going to head forward in that direction.
My business friend Danelle said “People will put their weakness in your future.” not everyone will understand your path – it was not meant for them. It is yours.
Find your voice. Get to work. Learn how to grow. Study emotional IQ. When people try to shut your down it is because your growth makes them uncomfortable. Your voice is your growth, it will strengthen your backbone.

People have always said you don’t get second chances. Why not? Who says the first time around has to be perfect? That was a learned skill for what doesn’t work.

People also say “Do what you love and you will never work again.” I find that so untrue and call it BS.

I have worked harder at my business than I ever did in my career. Stayed up late, traveled to events, made mistakes and had to start over. Business always works. I know what is ahead is a success because I am not quitting and you shouldn’t either.

I want to serve as many people as possible. That means I have to stay in the game and keep winning. I can only teach those that want to learn. I can only support those who will get in the circle.
