In Network Marketing the number one problem business owners have is finding more people to talk too. This one nugget will cause someone to succeed higher than average or cause someone to quit within a few weeks to months of getting connected to network marketing.

We all know that more eyeballs are what generates more sales and business builders in the business but where do you find those type of people.

Actually, customers and business builders are all around us if you are looking for the right eyeballs and asking the right questions. This week on Facebook alone I have been added to 4 different groups I didn’t ask to join, and 20 friends request that they either didn’t reply to their message I sent or immediately began telling me about their deal as soon as I said hello – which lead to a delete instead of new connection.

Let me tell you about Attraction Marketing, it keeps you human, makes you sociable and people stop running and hiding behind shelves when they see you coming. Even if your products are the best on this side of the equator you still need to find out if I even have a shallow interest in what you offer. But … how right?

Simple conversation.
No scripts needed.

When people get over excited about something they are working on they want everyone else to get filled up with their excitement as soon as it is mentioned. It rarely happens that way. Like … almost… never.

Before the attack…learn to listen with open ears and a general concern for the person you are talking too. In a conversation, more than 10 minutes people will mention what is going on with them and leading questions can also make that happen sooner.

If someone mentions a problem your products can possibly assist with, gently bring up the product by saying, “I am not sure if this is for you but you said XXX would you be open to trying XXX for your problem? When you ask and are transparent people are more open to listening than if you jump straight into how outstanding your product is. If they say no it is ok, you have planted a seed.

Generate Interest

Attraction Marketing generates interest with people without feeling pressured and hounded at the same time planting seeds of information. You lead with value verse what you have for sale or the company name. Leading with value would mean teach me how to use a product with a video or an audio podcast. What this does is raises your value in the marketplace making you the person to look to for more information like that.

Add Value

Home Depot and Lowe’s has this down to a fine art. On one or two days a week they have a free class that teaches how to lay tile and the tools you will need to get the job done. When someone attends the class they are already interested in laying tile. Once the class is complete they normally have the supplies mentioned in the class in the same area. The person will then buy all the products to lay the tile plus the tile needed for the job. It was a win-win. They learned a skill and conveniently collected all the supplies at the same time. No pressure what-so-ever in the sale.

How about a free cooking class where you teach how to make a recipe. Give them the recipe for free along with the how to’s in the video with a link to all the supplies needed to make the recipe in an easy to shop location. Again – no pressure sell.

You can do this with your products as well. Add value, teach, give something of value they are looking for and show them how to get the supplies. This is building your brand, it makes you a valuable person to others which attracts them to you and generates a lead. Teach them something. No matter what company you are with or if your company has issues along the way, your brand is still in tack. Guess what… you don’t even have to have an impressive resume to build your brand and create content.

As Ray Higdon says – Invest your time to learn – Learn it – Teach it to someone else.
