I am in the Sarasota Florida – as Matthew, the hurricane is making his presences known on the other side of the state – with Ray Higdon for a business training retreat. Today was “diamond” coaching clients day with Ray locked up in a room along with his top team members helping us work on the blueprint for our business that will move us to the next level in marketing and producing bigger results.
Day one and 8 pages of notes later, I have a starting point to a few changes I need to make along with two new strategies that will help you out-teach your competition.
Facebook live is the new media center to use to get your message out on the market. To get more eyeballs on your content and to connect at a higher level.
In order for facebook to send more people to your page to see your videos, you have to show them that you are someone to listen too. Consistency is once again the #1 tool you have in growing your business. Showing up is half the battle – the other half is out teaching your competition.
If you are a blogger (if you are not a blogger we need to talk) TIP #1 if you have written an article on your blog you can do a 90 sec commercial on your facebook page giving one or two tips they will get from reading the article. Post the link to the blog post in your facebook live description which is your “Call to action”
Tip #2 Once they are on your blog post – you can also add the video from facebook live to that blog post giving more details in the video about your topic. A video doesn’t have to be more than 5-10 mins long to get a message out to your readers.
- Bonus Tip: If you don’t like to blog but you need to get a message out. This tip if for you.
- Record your video on facebook live.
- Take the link from facebook link and send it to Rev.com to transcribe for you.
- Take the video URL on facebook live and put it in a blog post then add the transcription below the video. You have a content rich post.
Add your call to action to the bottom of the post and
BAM…. you have a piece of content with a video done for you.
The best thing about blog content is you can generate one piece of content and use it in more than one place. Meaning multi-purpose content.
