What do your goals for your life look like? In network marketing, you hear leaders talk about goals and belief is what pushes you when times gets hard or even quiet in your business.
Network Marketing is one of the most educational fields I have ever been in. Emotional, physically and putting things into action.
I have been through all the old school tools and If you have been around any length of time you have handed out business cards, fliers, had signs hanging on the car, talking to people that didn’t want you to talk to them. Had people stare at me like I was an alien when I said I had a business. Because I was not saying the right things to the right people.
My number one goal was the get my family out of debt and into a lifestyle of paying cash for everything we do, even for my son’s college. My goal was so strong for me it kept me in learning mode and applying what I learned to reach the next step. We have not reached 100% of goal yet but we are super close.
Seriously if you don’t have realistic goals you can see – ones you can document progress. It makes it hard to see even the small simple results.
Goals need to be set with your new distributors that are actually reachable.
When someone comes to work with me and I ask what is their goal for joining as a business and I hear “I want to make 10K a month.” That is ok – but most people don’t realize what it takes to get to that point in your business. The goal is reachable but I like to get people’s money back in their pocket they spend on the investment first. I want to see them doing money making activities that get the monthly auto-shipment paid for. I want to see them prospecting people and making connections even if people aren’t getting started with their business they are prospecting.
In my book, I walk people through the beginning steps of getting started in a Network Marketing business. I provide information for them to get started but they still have to do the work – I can support you – lead you and guide you but the work still comes from the effort. The book has links that go outside the book online to interviews and webinars that are included.
Getting the nerve up to start is the hard part. Once you make a decision – go all in and learn what you need to do and make it reach the goals you have set for yourself. I would love to work with you.
