Let’s get one thing straight right now:
I’m not on a diet.
I had chocolate cake Friday night.
I made strawberry cake on Sunday because my husband loves it.

He laughed.

I’m not training for a 5K anymore.
I’m training for life—to walk upstairs without gasping, to carry groceries, to walk and talk with a friend for a mile.
That might mean:
- A walk down your driveway
- A loop around the block
- Half a mile before dinner
- Picking up 10 lb dumbbells and getting it done
