Stunning Horse Farm Experience on the Bourbon Trail

(Georgetown, Kentucky—peace, horses, and possibility)

We don’t travel for chaos or crowds.

We travel for experience.
For peace.
For good food, good rest, and a place that makes you feel something.

And this trip?
It checked every box.

Georgetown, Kentucky—a small town in the heart of horse country—welcomed us with wide open skies and rolling fields. (Take a Peek at the Farm here)

Stunning horse farms. Manicured landscapes. That sweet scent of hay, horses, and a barn that’s been well-loved.

It’s been years since I had my own horses, but being here brought all of that back.
The days I ran barrels and poles.
The long trail rides.
The simple joy of just being in the barn because I wanted to be there.

This weekend stirred that girl back to the surface.

A Horse Farm Stay in Kentucky That Fed My Soul

I found a working horse farm with a loft apartment you can rent—and it was stunning.
(Here’s the Reel of the barn stay)

A little balcony that looked over the barn and the “peace ponies.”
The kind of place where you just sit, inhale, and let your nervous system relax.

The apartment itself? Above and beyond.

Warm, welcoming, and stocked with everything you’d need.
Even a big window that overlooked the indoor arena—so you could sip tea and watch the horses move without even stepping outside.

We like to travel during the week—
when most people are at work, rushing around, stuck in their normal routines.

And that’s part of what makes this lifestyle so different.
We get to decide when to go, and when to unplug.

And the best part?
While I was enjoying the farm…
my business was still in motion.

Two sales came through while I was brushing barn cats and sipping tea.

No inbox. No hustle. Just life, still flowing.

Exploring, Unplugging, and Letting the Business Work

My husband and I realized something on this trip:
We’re not good at doing nothing.

So we walked the farm.
Loved on the barn cats and horses.
Talked to locals at places where they actually remembered us the next day.

We had dinner plans at Rodney’s—a fancy, fine-dining spot inside an old colonial home.
But we ditched it for pizza at “The Goose and Gander” and easy laughter at the spot that felt like friends.
Zero regrets.

We even added an adventure—

A Rail Explorer: a pedal-powered cart that runs on railroad tracks.
No steering. Just smooth gliding and hands-free riding. It’s like coasting through the countryside on steel wheels.

(You can watch the Rail Explorer reel here)

Our last morning, we took it slow.
We rubbed cat heads.
Chatted with the owner as she saddled her horse.
Thanked the barn crew.
Took one final inhale of that sweet, grounding farm air.

And then we sat.

One last quiet moment on the upper deck, overlooking that peaceful land.
Letting the sounds of the morning settle into our bones.

There was a time when I wished for what I am living today.

From being a single mom…
to sitting in the heart of horse country while my business works quietly in the background.

This isn’t luck.
This is built.

And I want you to know…
it’s not too late to build your version of this.

I want this for you.
Not the exact getaway—but the freedom to go.
The ability to say yes to experiences that feed your soul.

I can’t make you see the possibility.
But I can show you what’s possible.
I can lead by example.
Give you the same tools I use.

Danny Morel says what we speak comes back to us.
What we focus on is drawn to us—because we radiate what we believe.

I believe you’re meant for more than burnout and second-guessing.
I believe adventure is still calling you.
And I believe you already know it—you’ve just been waiting for the right nudge.

PS:
If you’re ready to explore what this could look like for you, I’ve got a few spots open this week for my Power Sessions.
It’s 45 minutes, one-on-one, focused on you and where you want to go next.

You bring the questions.
I’ll bring the clarity.

Heads up—these go up August 1st.
If you’ve been thinking about it, book before the end of July to grab the $147 rate.
