Life is not a dress rehearsal DO IT now
Business starts with you. Did you know that there are people out there that would never do business with me because we do not connect, but they met you because of me and you two connected immediately? Business is not who YOU know but the connections around you from another introduction.
The connections people have are more powerful than anyone even can imagine. The power of who you know – and who I know broadens the span of the business. The first thing you have to do is get started.
Most people think of business as a suit and tie and not flip flops and jeans. There is a time and place to step up the attire but you can meet people to join your business anywhere you are if you share your story.
Let’s chat about business education
Personal Development:
Start your daily growth by listening to or reading books from people who have already gone down the path before you. Learning from people that you want to be like will be the greatest decision of your life. It sets directions in your sails. It doesn’t mean for you not to stay original but gather information from them as you are building your own brand.
Some of my favorites are
* John Maxwell
* Sarah Robbins
* Eric Worre
* Randy Gage
* Big Al
* Les Brown
You should be listening, reading, and applying personal development constantly. What you will notice is that your thinking will change. Then your behavior will shift and who you find yourself spending your time with.
Let’s chat about business skills
There are skills that you must have in anything that you do – soccer, baseball, teaching, being a nurse and a network marketer.
The most powerful skill you can have is sharing simple tools. No need to reinvent the wheel when there is so much information already working and out there, you just have to use it.
Share a website, add them to the list with auto messages that send out on autopilot, get them to watch a video, and add them to the social media groups. Whatever it is that works for you – keep it simple so your team can duplicate it. If you are the hero and make your presentation too difficult others will shy away because it is not duplicatable.
Let’s talk about building a lifestyle
Your business is building a lifestyle. People get focused on a product or a company name that they forget to mention the lifestyle they are building with your business. What attracts people to you more than a product is connecting with you because of the things they see you’re doing as social proof on social media and your updates.
Tell stories… lots of them.
Talk about your lifestyle products
Talk about the movement of people and the change in their life
Talk about a 90-day plan to make lifestyle changes and a plan that your team can follow.
Talk about what you and your family are doing on a daily base on social media.
No one in business runs their business every waking moment of the day….(or at least I hope not). The goal is to work less – work more focus and make more money.
Let’s talk business…. but don’t forget you building a life.
Be the messenger
