Onboarding Series 2 of 5: Enrollment Day 1st Steps

We have talked about Pre-Enrollment in the last post.

The actual enrollment process doesn’t take a lot of time. The hard part is filling out the form on the website. It is much easier to be on the phone to walk them through the steps if they have questions to make it flow easier. At least be available with ‪‪text messages for their questions about what to click or type in.

Once that process is complete. It is your job to be excited they have enrolled and are on this journey with you. They may be a little nervous to help them celebrate the new journey.

The next thing I like to do is ask them to send me a picture or two of themselves to share on my Facebook and Instagram stories congratulating them as a new partner in business. Make sure you tag them so share with their viewers as well.

You can also ask them to send you a DM to tell you what made them get started. Example: to pay a car payment, pay for pitching lessons, or whatever is pushing them to start up. Screenshot that and add it to the picture you are going to post to your stories.

This does two things: It shows your audience you are building a team, and it shows their audience that they have gotten started without thinking of their post to put out on social media, especially if they are not used to posting yet.

The next step is to get them on a comfort call with someone close to them that they feel comfortable bringing on to a call or a group message to listen to me talk to their person about the business and take notes for the next time them to do.

Look at your calendar to get a date set, so it doesn’t get swept under the rug. They may hesitate but encourage them to do this step so you can help them early in the process. Otherwise, it may not get done.

This process involves having someone who will listen to the presentation (less than 15 mins) so the new client can take notes on the process. They may or may not get started, and that is ok.

Their job is to introduce me to their new person to see it is not scary to connect people.

The first assignment for them is:
1. Please send me the pictures
2. Please send me the DM to screenshot
3. Intro to one new person for a comfort call
4.The next step is to sell one of the basic kit ($25) small-ticket items, so they know how it is done.

The next day is Day one – Teaching them how to use social media as themselves – not someone strange trying to sell a product. Most social posts have nothing to do with the products but teach them to become influencers and connect with people.

Keep the process simple for two reasons – it is easy for them and easy for them to teach (duplication)

Make sure you download a copy of the scripts to give you new ideas for your conversations
