#1 Mistake people make in network marketing business they approach their contact list with the goal to sponsor everyone. It makes you nervous, desperate and it turns off your prospects. Your contact list is a place to build relationships and get to know each other.

It drives me nuts to see someone post all over their social media non-stop pictures of their product. They are missing the point of building relationships and the mindset shows “I am new” without saying a word.

You will have to make more than one contact with a new customer and you will teach more than you sell, which is setting the stage. The future follow up will become very easy. You do not go in for the sale before the hello.

Yes, you can make a lot of money in network marketing, but you must treat your business like a real million dollar business. You will build relationships, you teach, you blend your life and your business into to one display so that your future customers can relate to you and your products. You will have to purchase tools to use that will help you run your business. You will have to get educated and travel to events. People who try to build a 6-figure business on a shoestring mindset will get frustrated and quit.

Treat Your Network Marketing Business like a Million Dollar Business

Every business needs customers. Not everyone is a distributor or wants to be. Let people be comfortable. Stop drooling all over people because they have a pulse. Stop posting pictures of your products and nothing about your life. Be real – you’re not fooling anyone. People know you’re in business show them you are different and what makes you stand out. I am not in the begging industry. I am in the opportunity business. The opportunity to change their health, change their finances, or change the products that are in their cabinets.

Network Marketing is a method of getting products into people’s hand for a company who pays a commission to distributors. If a very skilled distributor talks to 100 people, on average they will get 10 new customers and 1 new distributor. A smart marketer will build a list and teach them how they did it.
