I am living a Pinch Me Life

Pinch me life – is this really mine?

I have had a great life. Went to college, graduated, got a good job, met my husband, had two healthy boys, bought a farm.

I have always been a fairly happy person and most of the time placed myself around positive people (there were a few years that went south)

I was walking into to work one morning at 6:30am and there were 4 other people who got out of their cars and headed toward the time clock. No one spoke – no one said Good Morning – no one looked up they all stared at  the sidewalk as they walked. When the got to the time clock the badge was swiped and everyone went in their own direction. I stood and watched.

The sad thing…I was them. That was me. I needed a change.

I started working from home 4 1/2 years ago part time after I got off work from my 7-3 job to build the place I am in today.

Today when I walk into my office and my pens are still where I left them – my lap top and post it notes are all in place and no one has been rambling through my papers. THAT is priceless in itself. The best part, I get to take my son to school, and pick him up in the afternoon with energy to hear about his day. I enjoy to cooking supper, and spending more time with my husband.

My lap top goes with me and I can work where ever I have an internet connection. My “office” no longer has a location or a certain roof top. It is where I am.

Now I get to teach other people how I used the interne to make this Pinch me life happen
