Have you had one of those days that you have not felt like a productive bunny in your business? My humanness took over this week, and I did the basics each day to get work done and kicked back because I needed it. Sometimes you need to slow down in your business, and it is ok to do that. Focus on the critical task that needs to be done even if it is only one hour all day. There are 6 skills you need to work your business that should be in your DMO (Daily Method of Operation)
People don’t connect with logos, product pictures, and slick taglines. They communicate and relate to humans. They don’t want to know what your brand is or what your company history is they want to know about you.
Unfortunately, people have a negative outlook on network marketing because so many people in their circle that have invited them to parties for products sales or hounded them for weeks to join them in a business they quit in less than 90 days. They have heard all the negative stories and never really met anyone who has made money in the profession.
To be slightly honest haters of network marketing are hard to talk too and can make you shy away from talking to more people because you don’t want to get in one of those conversations again. This is where your skill and belief will carry you forward. It is not easy, and you will have some days you would rather crawl into a hole than talk to one more negative person.
Set Proper Expectations
Help me change the way people look at network marketing and let’s bring our humanness to the business. Let’s be real when we talk to people and let them know this requires work. If we are signing people up with the mindset that this is easy street and they don’t know how to find their first check they will be easy to discourage.
Being human and honest will go along way for your business. It will also set the expectations to understand that this will be a learning journey with long-term views in mind.
Some people hit the scene running and rise to the top of the charts in the company so fast it seemed like a blur and bam they are million-dollar earners. Always keep in mind for someone to do that they have done the hard work somewhere for those results to show up. No one you see at the top walked up the mountain skipping.

You have to be in things for the long run, get rich quick schemes lead to unrealistic expectations and not good results long term.
