Two-minute tip for LinkedIn; that will help you in various ways to connect with people on LinkedIn.
Building your LinkedIn network is a great way to stay in touch with alums, colleagues, and recruiters and connect with new professional opportunities.
You will need a primary email address mandatory to send invitations. Members become 1st-degree connections when they accept your invitation.
We all get automated messages that sound like they are talking to the wall, not me, so we all delete them. Or they are copied and pasted and very impersonal. Sometimes I will send a response and get one back, but it is rare.
One of the ways to start getting connected with accurate responses is to go and comment on other people’s posts. Each time I log into LinkedIn, I aim to make five engaging comments. I also TAG their name (@angelabrooks), the post’s author, to get their attention in the comment.
People go to LinkedIn, don’t communicate with others, and wonder why it is so dull. When you are reaching out and commenting, you train LinkedIn on what you like to see. Just like on Facebook except better.
Make sure your profile is complete, so people have something to learn about you and vice versa for a conversation starter, and you can have a personal conversation.
There is no need for cold marketing chats when you have a profile telling you more about the person you will have a conversation with.
Being your authentic self on your social platforms will allow you to connect better with people.

It is not necessary to ask someone you just had a conversation with you jump on a zoom call – people on social media are not looking for casual chats unless the conversation is flowing, and that is the next step for that conversation.
Most people on LinkedIn are busy – they don’t have time to have casual chats on zoom multiple times a day.
I hope that was helpful, and I will be having a conversation with you soon and have a real connection on LinkedIn <— here is my profile.
