How do you do it?
I don’t know where you find the time?
My kids won’t let me work.
I have to take care of my husband.
I work for a job.
How many times do I post on Facebook?
I don’t understand LinkedIn.
How much product do I have to buy a month?
I don’t like writing.
I don’t like to hear myself recorded.
I don’t like to see my self on video.
Let’s get real…
Neither did I.
I figured it out.
What I do works because I decided it would — and I understand that my faith/power/belief is intact that I will rise even bigger than my own goals that are set.
I show up daily.
I show up when I would rather lay on the couch – except when I lay on the couch I am thinking about what I could write, what podcast I could do, how I could leverage a piece of content.
I can tell you, teach you and show you everything I know but if you don’t put the action behind the education you will never see my results.
Hire a mentor
I didn’t have the money – I used my credit card. That may not have been the best choice to use but I knew if I used it I would work to pay it off and I did.
I have hired 3 rock star business coaches and one crazy one. None of those people did the work for me – they taught me – and I went to work. The fee to work with them was not cheap. I paid it anyway.
To earn you need to learn.
If you are saying yes but I don’t want to pay for a coach.
It means you don’t want this as bad as I do.
I am always looking at how I can get in front of more people, learn something new or tweak what I do know. I know a lot about marketing but nowhere near everything.
Content can take the form of blog posts, podcast, eBooks, videos, or just about anything else. Figure out where your audience is gathering and what kind of content formats resonate with them and you. Once you do, continue to produce content that highlights your products and the things you care about in a way that makes consumers care about them too.
