Do you take time to celebrate your wins

Over the last 10 days if you have followed me on social media you have seen me talking about a 10K Social Media formula promotion. I worked with a team of promoters to get this message out because the content is that good and it works. If you actually use the tips that are taught.

We worked several nights up until midnight connecting with people to get them on board. I was in the top 15 highest promoters and what a rush to know there is people’s business that is about to change because I connected them to this information.

ProgressOf course, as entrepreneurs, there is always competition and Ray Higdon may or may not be a little guilty of egging it on in the group.

If this was a team of football players hitting each other in practice you would have heard a lot of grunting, fist bumping, and huffing and puffing. It was that serious… but oh so fun to be connected to that group of business minds.

Final Night

The final night of promotion we had a lot of big wins. People who promoted the most won prizes up to $30,000! The top 15 all did over $10,000 in sales for this project. The rush of last minute details was over, the nonstop posting in the group slowed down. The taunting and pressing each other to do their best came to a halt.

Instead of feeling good and still excited I was frustrated that I could have done more. That has a lot to do with my super red personality. I made a comment to my business coach about I could have done better and his comment was “Celebrate the wins!”

Celebrate the wins

I read those words over and over and thought wow – what was I thinking? It was not about doing more and more. It was about being excited that I just changed 38 people’s business!! That is a huge win!

It also made me stop and realize I love the climb, the push, the competition to see what I can do as business women. One of my weakness, and I am working on it, is celebrating the victories along the way. To stop and smell roses before you take another step. I suck at this, I am work in progress.

I post on social media my wins and things that have happened in my business because of hard work but I never give it time to sink in and truly absorb the moment. Once I finish a project I am looking for one more to do.

Ray Higdon said, “Once you stop allowing those who have no interest in understanding you affect you, you become more powerful.”

Take the time to look at the small things as stepping stones to the big things in the long term goals. Blogging is a slow process that has long-term effects. Building a following, a community, or a list takes some time to get people talking to you and excited about what you have to offer. Generating your own leads is a process and a skill to be learned.

Tony Robbins says: It is NOT a lack of resources that ever stops you, it is a lack of resourcefulness. Powerful. Stop saying you don’t have the time, money, support, education and instead get resourceful and concentrate on what you want and how you can get there. (most people resist this)

Today … I hope you stop and Celebrate your Wins! My win today is that I was able to change 38 people’s business to prosper. That will result in a ton of people reached all because I shared this one program for them to learn a new skill. That will change many families lives, it will change bank accounts, it will retire people from their jobs, it will give them the confidence to do something they only dreamed about. That is a win!

If you gained value from today’s post or had an Ah-Ha moment I would love to hear about it below in the comments. Share this post – we need to tell others that the small things are worthy of being noticed!

If you Love it - Share it!

  1. This blog post is on point as I was feeling discouraged today about not being further ahead with getting all the pieces of my biz together and implementing them. But, starting tomorrow, I will “celebrate the wins” because I am further along now than when I started this biz journey!

I love this post Angela! I can relate to not giving yourself the permission to celebrate the amazing work you do! In this case inspiring and encouraging people (like me) to take a look and then take the leap to get Jesssica’s program! Thank you! The win I am celebrating is that I did sign up and am motivated to do the work… to get out of that comfort zone!! Thank you for all your great feedback and sticking with me while I was trying to get in during the last hours of the offer… can’t wait to start celebrating more wins, not only for myself but for others who I will be helping along the way!!

  3. I am so glad you took the link. People are getting results by Module #2! That is exciting!
So glad we connected… via text! LOL
