Does LinkedIn provide SEO and links back to your blog?
I often get asked about how to do link building on Linkedin. The first thing that you need to know is that Google indexes LinkedIn’s domain as a seriously trustworthy domain. So many people want to know how they can use this social media site for their marketing efforts.
The next question I usually hear is whether or not Google indexes links posted on Linkedin?
Well, there is a simple way of finding out if the links you post are getting indexed by Google: either through your Google Analytics account or through another tracker if you have one. I personally use Google Analytics.
You will be able to see the traffic coming from both external sources and internal sources for those who have google analytics accounts because they track both external AND internal sources of visitors coming into your website or blog page. And, you’ll also be able to see when someone clicks off again after visiting yours specifically!
So LinkedIn definitely provides some SEO benefits that businesses can take advantage of – especially if they want to get their content in front of more people.
However, it’s important to remember that the best way to increase traffic is through high-quality content that is relevant to your target audience.
