In the United States on November 8th, 2016 is election day for Presidency. There is a buzz in the air, cooler weather, and rainy mist falling, govern offices, school and liqueur store are closed today. (You can see the facebook live video here make sure you leave me a comment)

Yes, I said liqueur stores.

It’s the law in Kentucky that there are no alcohol sales until 6 p.m. on Election Day, but did you know that only one other 14925247_10209475133373101_3367400226867090173_nstate, South Carolina, still has such a law on the books?

in the year 2016 – I find it rather funny that some of the old laws that still are in place. If someone is going to drink or pay someone for a vote per shot of whiskey I am more than sure they would stock up for election day. You can read a good article from the Lousiville Times here.

I am not a politician or even a political type person, however, I always exercise my right to vote and cast my opinion that no one can change (legally).

I am always shocked at the anger people display around election time when they voice their opinion and get angry when others don’t agree. That has always been crazy to me.

I am thankful to live in a country (and no I am not moving no matter who wins the election) where I have options. When you are born into a country where you have freedom, so many people are not grateful for things we have the ‘option’ to do. In some countries, they are still trying to get laws passed for the basics in life that we as Americans take advantage of.

As an entrepreneur, women, a businesswoman, a mom, citizen of the USA I am so grateful that I can work from home and no I don’t like paying the amount of taxes that I pay – but in reality, it is a privilege to be the CEO of  my own media company.

I hope you voted today. Whatever your choice was, it was yours to make.

Aren’t you grateful for the choices we get to make?
