My husband and I had a day date for a local event for Tequila tasting. It was a perfect 60-degree day with a friendly crowd but not overcrowded.
We bought a pocket full of tokens to test some brands we had never tried and found a new one called Codigo Tequila Rosa that we enjoyed.
My boys are grown, and my business need has changed to things my husband and I want to do more of. Money opens doors, changes opportunities, and allows you to experience something you can not without.
Yes, we like to travel, but we travel in luxury, not general seating. I enjoy the experience of good food, excellent service, and never looking at the right side of the menu.
Like today at the tequila fest, we enjoyed the upscale drinks, not the gut-wrenching tequila most people drink, but the smooth, no, burn drink you can enjoy, and your palate thanks you instead of gagging.
Financial stability and success can bring many luxuries and opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.
Enjoying expensive tequila, staying in the best hotels, and traveling without worrying about finances is a perks of building a successful business.
However, it’s important to remember that money shouldn’t be the sole driving force behind building a business. While it’s a motivating factor, focusing solely on making money can lead to burnout and a lack of fulfillment.
That being said, there’s nothing wrong with enjoying the rewards of financial success. Celebrating your achievements and enjoying the fruits of your labor, whether indulging in expensive tequila or treating yourself to a luxurious vacation, is essential.
At the end of the day, building a successful business is about finding a balance between financial success and personal fulfillment. Money may open doors, but it’s up to you to decide where those doors lead and what kind of experiences you want to have along the way.
You are still here reading – that tells me something about you.
I know you’re interested in business, which is why you are still reading this post, But I also know that it can take a lot of work to stay motivated when you need a clear purpose.
Many people mention feeling stuck because they’re overthinking a problem. It’s normal to feel this way, and it can be incredibly daunting when trying to start or grow a business.
Another approach that has worked for me is to bounce ideas off of other people. Sometimes talking through a problem with someone else can help you see it differently and develop new solutions.
Having specific objectives to work towards can be a great way to stay motivated and focused and help you succeed. Let me tell you how I started and where I am now.
When I began my business, I only needed $300-500; actually, anything extra dollar would have been appreciated. My son was 10-11 yrs old and played on a travel baseball team, and I had no idea when we said yes, he could play how expensive it would be.
It stretched our already stretched two households’ income even more. I didn’t want to tell him no; he missed the experience. I just started figuring it out.
I worked from my Blackberry and used social media to talk to people – and used my terrible business skills to generate some customers.
Over time I was able to hire someone to teach me how to make this business thing work. My coaches first lesson cost me $45 for an hour of training, and then $150 a month to be in a group training. I was learning, I was beginning to make some money, and I applied everything she taught me even though it didn’t look terrific.
Remember that there’s no such thing as a perfect plan or idea. Eventually, you have to take action and see where it leads you. Don’t let fear or indecision hold you back from pursuing your goals.
I want to remind you that your lived experience is a valuable asset when solving problems for other people.
You don’t necessarily need all the answers or be an expert in your field to offer a solution. Often, the best solutions come from personal experience and insights.
Remember, you are the business; your unique qualities and experiences set you apart.
Embrace your strengths, and don’t be afraid to lean into your personal journey when building and growing your business. Trust yourself and your abilities, and let your passion and drive guide you toward success.
You should develop a new product or service that fills a gap in the market outside your network marketing company that will brand you and your skills – I highly suggest it. I have a solution that will work for you.
Once you’ve identified your goals, break them down into smaller, manageable steps to work towards each day. Set deadlines for yourself and hold yourself accountable. Connecting to a community that wants to help you succeed is easier.
The journey to success is a marathon, not a sprint.
You have the drive and determination to achieve great things in your business. So let’s set some goals and start working towards them together.
Let’s be clear; coaching is far from mainstream education.
It’s not about getting a fancy degree or being indoctrinated by an outdated system.
Coaching is about cutting the learning curve and getting actual results from someone that has paved the way already.
In fact, I should be charging even more for the transformation they get after working with me in a one-on-one experience.
At the very least, subscribe to the newsletter and start getting out of your way.
