Become the kind of leader that others want to follow

When someone is getting started in Network Marketing with my company. They usually will tell me, “I’m very interested in learning more and becoming successful.” My reply is, ” Great!”

No matter how ready they say they are when I tell them they will need to start a blog and develop content. They get quiet. Why? It is something new and they always say, “I don’t know how.”

In a business, you will always be learning and applying things you don’t know in the beginning. It takes practice and skill to be the kind of leader that others want to follow.

To become the kind of leader that people are drawn to is to out teach the others. Create content that is not giving away all the cookies but enough that gives them something to nibble on until they come back for more or join your list to stay in touch with what you have to say. I give people 4 full days of content when they join my list. It is information they can put to use as they read the email. The mistakes so many people make is they read the email and say “Oh that was nice 0r that was good information” and don’t put it into action.

Growth comes in this business from action and creating content.

I hear people constantly say “I don’t want to blog.” Or “I am not going to build a list.” I really have no words left to say. Because I know without it….. they will not do well.

In my book MLM Blueprint: Secrets to Building Your Network Marketing Empire!  I spilled my guts and provide 100 pages of content that can be used to get you set up and running your business the right way. At the end of the book, you should be in good bulletproof shape to add content that leads people to your own list and funnels. Do I believe it works? 6-figures later…. yes.

Creating free content with enough value that someone can walk away with an action step or a call to action will bring them back time and time again because you have helped them in the past. People like working with someone who will help them push over the new humps in the business.

When someone does join you and your company – always – always – show appreciation by sending a Thank you card. No matter how big you get you will never outgrow a thank you card.

You never outgrow a thank you note. You are so right Angela. So few people do this. Hopefully this serves as a good reminder. Thank you for what you share.
