Does anybody know you are in business?

Do they?

or is it top secret and you are the only one who knows?

Me personally I use to hate it when someone asks “What do you do?” and then puke the elevator spill. It felt gross and it was clunky.

Most of us completely avoided the conversation and quickly move onto another subject. It is hard looking for the right words to talk about yourself when we aren’t 100% sure exactly what we do.

I found a much better way of saying what I do without feeling weird and I always end the statetment with “What about you?”

If you are in business and you don’t even want to talk about it. It is not a good place to be at all.

Overthinking in your Business

Most people are looking for fancy words or super impressive statements to describe who they are when it is ok to just be you.

I am not the person who is going to hand hold you and check to see if you are doing the work in your business. However, I can connect you to a training that will teach you what you need to know.

Most people still stumble backwards as soon as you say it will cost you to get training for your business. Which is the first step of staying where you are. The business will cost you money. I know it is hard to spend in the beginning but it is easier to know how early than it is to struggle so long that you quit.

Stop trying to follow other people’s roadmap in your business. You get to design the one you enjoy working with. We get inspired by other people’s journeys and try to apply that to our own business (guilty here).

It rarely works.

Instead of trying to copy their road map – observe how they are being themselves and acting normal instead of putting on a business act. Watch how they are showing up in their business, notice what inspires you.

Just being you will work – you don’t have to change who you are to be successful in your business or becoming a customer (my favorite). It is just a vehicle you are using for income.

Start with this step…

Have 5 new conversations a day using social media. Just start talking to people. Your business will come up as you learn more about the person you are talking to. Get to know them. When I say that I don’t mean to talk to them for a month before you bring up a business but you will know in your gut (if you listen to it) when the time is right or the topic is right.

In the Networks script book, I give you some copy and paste scripts to try for yourself to get things moving along.
