You will never get paid in business if you are scared to ask for the sale. Most people who have a fear of follow up and or telling people about their products are fighting the madness in their mind that they are bugging people. I know I had a similar issue over my email list.
People have opted in to get emails from me. They said yes please, I didn’t add them there. I would only send one email a week because I didn’t want to bother people.
Then it started sinking in that I am paying for the email service and for every person to be on my list. If I am not sending out emails I am tossing money out the window and the ones who wanted to hear from me aren’t getting what they came for.
I finally settled with the fact there will always be that ONE person who is having a bad day and will reply to an email with a hot-button comment, or demand to be deleted from the list. When all they have to do scroll down to the bottom like thousands of other emails to remove themselves.
It depends on my time level for the day, or my mood if I take my time to go remove them or let them deal with things themselves. Thank goodness those people are few and far between.
Just like telling people about my products. Not everyone will be open to using essential oils and some are open to learning more about them. Either way, they can’t give me a reply if I don’t tell them what I have to offer. If I don’t speak up someone else will.
When people have raised their hands (added to the email, following on Facebook, Reading a blog post) they are telling you they have an interest. People like to buy things.
If you truly believe you have a product or a service that your customer needs…
If you know it will help them…
If you are a good human who likes to sell quality products with integrity…
Then having the thought that you are bugging someone is just irrational and a fear you must get over. Your fear of bugging someone will not stop them from shopping. They will continue to shop with someone.
Stop worrying if you know enough.
Stop worrying if you will say everything perfect.
Stop worrying if you will do something to upset someone.
Most likely you are holding yourself back in your own business over something that is not even a problem. If you annoy someone, guess what?
They will walk away.
Wonder if you don’t annoy someone and you have exactly what they need and they have 20 other friends they want to tell about their special find. It happens every day. It has happened to me. I have had 3 best friends who bought kits from someone else because I didn’t present the offer.
Just go do your thing. Stop worrying and go.
