No Excuses - only adjustmentsThis may be you or it could be someone you know. You bought a “kit” to get started as a business in network marketing and it sat on your counter for 2 weeks before you “had time” to open the box.

Once you opened the box you didn’t even open one of the products to test it.

Most people are customers who are calling themselves a business but they don’t tell anyone about their products and half the time don’t even use the products themselves.

Working in network marketing as a business is not always fun. Wait. talking to people about your products (called prospecting) is terrible. No one even the people at the top of the food chain want to prospect. What do most of them do?

They do it anyway.

Leaders lead, whiners, whine that it’s hard.

Nowhere in any book does it say that it is easy. Some people see the ones who are speaking on stages as if they got there without working to make it happen. When someone brags it took them 12 months to 18 months to hit the top ranks they are leaving out all the trials it took to make that happen.

I am a blogger and social attraction marketer. This is how I have built my presence online and generated content like what you are reading right now.

I am a mom of two handsome boys 14 and 22. A husband who supports my crazy dreams and walks along beside me as I am screaming WEEEEEE “Let’s go!”

I retired from my 30 years in the nursing field in 2014 to work at home after replacing my income in less than 4 years working very part-time from my baseball field and on my lunch breaks in short 15 minutes and 60 minutes segments.

I have been in network marketing successfully since 2010. I dabbled for years and had no clue there was more to the whole product thing.

I became a blogger and built a business using social media and blog while my company support told me it was not possible I am now in the top 3% of the company as a 6-figure leader and always looking to learn more about the business industry.

After years of following other blogging leaders, I found the skills I needed to work for me in the areas of marketing I wanted to use – not what someone told me I needed but the ones that worked for me and my personality.

I started looking for a system to use that would help teach people how to generate their own leads that included tools they needed all in one place without having to pay $47 here and $97 there but have good tools to build simple system pages for online marketing. I had no intention of building the ranks. I became L4 leader in a year and looking to move up the ladder with some other rock stars as well within the next 12 months.

There are so many ways you can build a business using social media with a blog but one thing for sure is you must be consistent and keep learning to master your craft. If you keep spinning in the same circle of non-production you will get frustrated and many people quit.

Using excuses leads to no production which will lead to frustration = quitting. Quitting doesn’t get you any closer to your goal.

The tools I found to use in the business that has helped me create success.

  1. A blog – it is my home base. It provides content to the internet platform and tells my story for me over and over.
  2. A system uses that has a community, software, tools, training, marketing, and branding will help you get more clients, more customers, and more sales, period.
  3. A product that I believe in and use for my own family.
