When I returned from the top earner academy live in Orlando Florida I now have 16 pages full of notes from some of the top speakers in network marketing. There were many things they all repeated and used in the process of building their business and I want to share some of that here with you today.

Many people think that they should be the center of their business but it is the opposite. You should always be looking at your organization for the leaders to put front and center to develop a team that is duplicatable. Recruiting is not team building, you develop a team.

The person that you brought into the business may not be one of your top leaders. It could be someone they know and connect with the organization through them. Top leaders can be way down inside of an organization that may not develop for some time. Keep your eye on those you don’t know just yet and build your team.

Lisa says, “The best advice that I can give you is to get over yourself. Because if you want to be successful in this profession, the first thing you have to realize is, it’s not about you… When you can learn how to move people, you will make millions, and you won’t even care about the money. It (the world) is full of people who just need to believe that there is a better way and that they can have a better tomorrow than yesterday, and they need you to help them see a bigger picture for themselves. And to do that, you have to stop looking in the mirror and start looking out.”

Lisa talked about your business being able to run without you like she has for several years. She retired from network marketing and was still enjoying way over a million a year income.

She says talent is not duplicatable, but learning skills are. People come into network marketing fresh off the street with a box in the mail and think they can do it all themselves without getting any guidance and training. Yes, they may get a good start and add some members to the organization but to grow a business that you can step away from you need guidance to be able to step back at some point.

Lisa talks about using third-party tools like a website, a video, an audio that you are always pointing people too for the information. To some people that sounds absurd. The point of the method is to not be the one with all the answers. The last thing you want people to think is that you have to know everything in this business to get started.

I literally knew nothing about my products when I got started. I got started and learned over time and still learning after 7 years.

I have had people say to me that I was lucky, or I got in at the right time, or yes you can do this but I can’t. All of that is totally false. I had the same box in the mail you can get. I have the same products, the same comp plan, and the same busy life with a family that most people I know do. The difference is I didn’t quit. I have paid the price and worked to learn and duplicate as I learn a new skill I use the skill.

I want to show people just like you that you can do this. I hear people weekly talk about the long hours they are working and some are working two low paying jobs but won’t give this business a try because they are scared. I would be more scared working my life away and missing out than learning how to run a business like a network marketing. Don’t be that person let’s get you started to click this link

Lisa says “If you want better answers, ask better questions.” Marry the process but divorce the results. People will tell you no. You may not click the link to get started and keep moving on by but the next person will stop and want to shift their life. Not everybody wants to live a better life. Many want to complain but not change.

You look through the people you meet to find the next person to talk too. In network marketing to build a business that can run without you then you have to remain postured in what you have to offer that you have the cookie to change where they are right now in their life. Everyone is not ready in the beginning but in time they will see something that makes them want more. I hope that is you as you are reading this blog post.

A powerful point that Lisa teaches is “I will help YOU build YOUR business. YOU build your business. I will help YOU” People come into network marketing and expect their upline to help them or to build their business while they sit back and watch it grow. I will help someone build but I can not do the work that it takes to make it grow. I give my team notes and notes and notes from events that I attend.

People dictate the response they get from you. Network marketing is the only business that it doesn’t matter where you came from or your background. You can come in with no skills, no business background. Learn the skills you need to build the business and go to the top. The ones who stay in the longest and continue to work will rise to the top even if it takes more than 2 years to get there.

Stay in 5 years instead of 5 minutes. Work don’t watch. Learn don’t sit back and wish. YOU are who is holding you back from living a great life. Can I help you change?
