The 5 Key Mindset Qualities

1. Passion – you must have a passion for your business and the purpose behind getting started. In the beginning for some people you will not make any money for 60-90 days. You passion and purpose will push you past the quiet times in your business. What is Your Passion?
2. Perseverance – Characteristics of successful business is not built overnight. It will take time and you will have to spend money to get it moving. I am not sure where people think that a brick and mortar business is the only business expected to spend money to get up and running. You can not run your business for free. It will not happen. Get used to being told no. Don’t get attached to the response – get in front of as many people as possible. Move past the no and look for the yes.
3. Become a sponge for knowledge – if you have never had any business success, you will have a lot of learning to do. Soak it up – follow the examples of people that have made it to where you want to go. Read books, follow blogs with good content, apply what you learn.The biggest problem I see with new business owners are someone will give them the step by step directions of what they need to do and systems they need to use like I did in the MLM Blueprint: Secrets to Building Your Network Marketing Empire, and they will still not use the guide to do the work.

4. Be open minded – Be Coachable – when someone thinks they have it all together in their business and they don’t need any help. That is the first mistake. If you have not made the solid money to replace your income with your job yet you have room to grow. Listen to leaders who are trying to help you. A closed mind is like a brick wall. 5. Self Motivated – in a job you have a set of guidelines and job task to get done in a day’s work. You have a boss over you making sure you stay on task and get things done. In your business, whether part-time or full time you have to be self motivated to work all the time. Not when you feel like it but because you are the one who has to show up. If you do not show up and do the work – don’t be upset when you don’t get  check. You are being paid for your performance. Most people desire to be an entrepreneur. Becoming your own boss and creating your own career is very attractive to most people. It is also work – so get busy.
