Using the internet to build your network marketing business is the best tool you can use in our times of digital on the go phones, laptops, watches and so many more that are out there. People are not sitting by the phone any more waiting for their friends to call they are texting them.
If you are still doing cold calling marketing, I am guessing you get a lot of answering machine messages. Or they are looking at the caller ID and not picking up the phone – like my husband and I do. Actually we have a home phone and I am not sure why other than internet connection because when it rings we tune it out.
Don’t quit your day job just yet. The media has flooded the market that as soon as you join a network marketing business you quit your job. This is not true and it is just dumb to do. Most people who come to network marketing are working and making money to pay their bills and some are doing very well in the corporate world. So you ask why are they coming to network marketing?

Once people start using the products somewhere along the way they learn about the business behind the company, and they get curious. Most of them are working a day job busting their butts off to ask permission for time off, like I used to do. While they are still working a full time job (like I did when I got started) they begin learning how the business works, and find a system that works for them to replace the income they now make in a job.
The hot tip of the day is learn what systems work for you. Sending someone to a website to capture their name and email is a must, a video they can watch, an email with autoresponders, and company events are the really big tools. Whatever system you use it has to be duplicatable. My team has a facebook support group, a team email, and website tool and more – each system is easy and simple. Once people have systems in place they can point leads. The system will do a lot of the follow-up and staying it touch it makes it easier to bring that person in as a new member. It gives team members confidence to talk to more leads knowing they have a plan. People don’t feel like you are chasing them down with a pen and paper to sign on the dotted line – it actually makes them want to join you without pressure.
Whether you are online or offline. People will notice your confidence. When you believe in what you are doing and you know that the system works, that the products work, and you know what you are sharing with someone is the real deal. Your confidence is going to be higher than if you don’t have a system in place that will follow up with what you are telling them.
You will build confidence when you know what you are doing. I am sure you can remember walking into a new job and you had no clue what you were doing and felt like you were stumbling around trying to make your way. After a few weeks you would go to work and you knew what you were suppose to do so you felt better and your shoulders were held back and your head was up.
Same with your network marketing business. Find a company that you believe in, learn what your system is and as you talk to people you are leading them to your system. You know how the ushers will guide people to their seats at big events and go back to get the next group of people. That is what you are doing – you are ushering people to your system, getting them started watching a video or reading a blog post (yes you need a blog get busy) and then you go get the next one. The system walks them through the next step and then it will clue in you when they are ready to get started. It is a duplicatable system.
