The power of the number two.
We have heard about two by two by two since Noah built the ark. He gathered them and filled his boat until it was full.
In network marketing you are filling your organization like a boat two by two.
I think most people have a vision in mind that the “big wigs” are raking them in by the dozens a month – and I am sure some are. However, a nice and slow trickle of 2 a month can bring you to a nice 6-figure business in 2-3 years.
When people see they would have to work for 2-3 years to make 6-figures in their business they almost want to quit. However, those same people will have to work 25-30 years to make 2000 – 3000 a month from a job. It makes 2-3 years look pretty simple.
Find out what your leader uses for a simple system. It can be online system like I use. It can be in person. It can be on the phone, webinars. Whatever works for you to teach the next two a simple step. Keep it simple. Short and easy.
There’s no secret to success in network marketing- when you want your team volume & title to grow, you have to go into a 90 day recruiting blitz yourself! New people bring new activity and growth.
You do have to be creative to find two new people a month without being slimy. It isn’t hard – when you have a plan. Find what works for you and rinse and repeat.
When people get scared to tell someone about their opportunity – then I have to ask. If I gave you $500 cash for every person you told and added to your team, it would change your attitude on talking to people. Building two by two can really pay you like that.
In real life – we all know it doesn’t work perfectly. If you are willing to hear the words no more than you hear yes, you will get your two a month.
Make your business fun – when you are not having a good time it because a job and not something you want to get out of bed to do.
Remember to give your new members small amounts of information at a time. Don’t “vomit” on them because they will get information overload and back up.
Find out how they want to be communicated too. By phone, by email, text, by social media.
Trust me this is important. If someone called me all the time. I would stop answering the the phone – but I will always reply by email and text (Text is fastest)
