Even though the time I learned about Robin it has not been confirm that it was a suicide, even though he has a long history of Bipolar, a battle he fought – Robin Williams is listed on out wall of fame at the hospital for his Bipolar Disorder. He has struggled with the illness all his life and the down side of Bipolar is the depression that he suffered.

However he is not alone the following well known names have as well
• Ben Stiller, actor, director, writer
• David Strickland
• Lili Taylor
• Tracy Ullman
• Jean-Claude Van Damme
• Robin Williams
• Jonathon Winters, comedian

that is just a few you can read more names here http://www.mental-health-today.com/bp/famous_people.htm

Bipolar Disorder (BP), also known as manic depressive illness is said to affect approximately 1-3% of the population. Males as well as females seem to be equally affected. It is not known specifically what causes the BP, however biological, genetic and environmental factors appear to have an influence on this disorder that is not curable at this time. However it can be treatable primarily by medications, therapy, electro convulsive therapy, exercise, staying with a routine and avoiding stress as well as other factors.

If untreated, the suicide rate is high at 20%.
