For years I have listened to people’s stories and love to do so. The only part about the ones I have heard are so sad…with such tragedy behind them that caused them to eventually end up in the hospital that I worked, a mental institution.
I have talked too and had coffee with murderers, rapist, child molesters, masters degree scientist, inventors, mothers, teachers, homeless, nurses and even one doctor. All under the roof of a state hospital. Am I bragging? Not hardly. Would I trust them on the outside of the facility? I don’t think so.
They all had a story.
Their stories didn’t all start out bad or horrific. Most of them had lives like yours and mine. A family, a job, kids, and spouses. Theirs choices and life style changed many of the choices they are now able to make.
It is because of their story that I was able to meet them, otherwise our paths would not have crossed.
It is because of my business that I was able to interview with The Mutual of Omaha and share my story, well a brief part of it.
