Can I be honest today?
Everyone wants to know how to get to the easy street.
You know the one where money pops into your account and you don’t have to work really hard to make it happen.
Well, I didn’t get the directions to that side of town.
I taught myself how to build a blog… not something I would suggest someone do. It was hard, long hours, frustrating and I cussed a lot… did I say a lot?
I took dozens of courses, classes, events, traveled for hours to get places to learn from someone that had the information I needed.
Then I went back home by myself and studied and put things into action without a community to get help from.
More frustration… and more cussing.
I never once thought about quitting. I kept looking for the next piece of the puzzle.
I got a message today that ask
“How many hours a day would I have to work?”
My answer. It depends on you.
I meet people almost every day that wants to build a business UNTIL….
They hear it cost to get a starter kit, and it cost to get the system they need to learn in a less painful way than I did.
I never suggest someone google every tip and every step to build on their own. You are only able to grow as big as you surround yourself with.
Connect with a Community of Geeks like you
I would suggest you join a community for no less than one year to learn the skills it takes to know marketing, to change how you look at your business, grow a blog or learn to promote your network business without spamming like a broke car salesman.
This week alone I have spent $300 on a training that lasted less than 4 hours. I bought another $200 live event training to have access to 16 hours of training.
By the end of this month, I will be rehiring my business coach for another 12 months.
So when someone asks me how many hours does it take… I really don’t have the answer for you. I am all in like Flynn. I am eyeball deep and swimming with the sharks.
I call this kind of training “Sharping my saw”
Train your face off
My why is so strong I can’t quit. It would make me crazy. I want to do more, learn more so I can serve more. I want to make an impact on other families that I could not do as a quitter.
Learning new technical skills will make your eyes cross. It will feel like it is too hard. As long as you do NOT quit it somehow all comes together.
Magically
The people you need to be around, the places you need to be, the things you need to do just show up…
It is the craziest business I have ever seen where things all seem to line up and work together. They won’t show up if you don’t.
Just Start
Just start… all scared… full of questions… full of not quitting until…
You don’t have to know it all today.
It is a growing process and it is personal growth.
The journey is a wilder ride than a roller coaster at Disney world.
You don’t have to be all fancy schmancy to run a solid business.
You have to be willing to get started (we can get you set up in less than 30 minutes and go over some small details you need to know just because you need to know them.
Start your training to build your business the right way from the beginning
Then get you set up in your training system so you can start the process of learning HOW.
Don’t ask me if it is free… you know better.
You will be connecting with other scared human beings who have the same doubts and fears you do. All you have to do is be honest – be real – be you.
I am grooming my 14-year-old right now to get his business started as soon as he hits 16. He is chewing at the bit to get started because he is not a kid who wants to go to college. He wants to be his own businessman and I want to show him how he can do that.
He has watched mom since he was 6 years old. He can do this… so can you.
I don’t claim to know it all. I most likely never will know it all. I am always in learning mode.
