My life looks much different than it did 7yrs ago. I was getting up at 4 AM to get ready for work. I was miserable. Today, I wake up ready to work with a purpose.
I never wanted to get into sales, but it found me, then it snowballed and led me down a path I knew nothing about. I spent two decades stretching my finances as far as they would go. I had no idea how I would make this work but I decided it would.
I didn’t know how to talk to people about the products. I didn’t know much about the products or what they did. I wanted it to work so bad but was afraid I would screw it up. As I was driving 45 mins home after work, I listened to a podcast that said there were only two responses, “Yes or No.”
What would happen if they said, No? Nothing.

As a nurse passing medication, I didn’t know everything about every pill, but I had access to information, books, and websites to look up the data. I do the same thing with my products now. I don’t have to know it all.
Every decision I made up to this point in my life was around my family and their well-being. I lived my life through text messages while I worked, missing their young life growing up so fast.
I was a professional sports chauffeur to my two boys, fitting my business in the nooks and crannies of my life.
Every hard decision I have made around my business has formed the freedom I have now. As a nurse, I spent 30 yrs helping other people. Now my talents have been turned toward assisting women to thrive in their own space and skills.
MY AVERAGE DAY
Each day looks different, which I love. Somedays, I respond to emails, and Facebook messages and write emails to go out to my list. Other days I pick up sticks in the yard and walk my dogs across the farm, cooking dinner for my family in strictly mom mode.
I’m not too fond of a calendar overflowing with things to do. I value my TIME over-busy days.
BEST SOCIAL MEDIA TIP
Post daily and often. Utilize stories and live videos! Create content that feels authentic to you. And choose the five things/pillars you’re most passionate about, and only focus on those things when posting content. But my number one tip?? Posting daily and often. Consistency is everything!
If I could tell another small business owner one thing I wished I knew initially, what would it be? You don’t have to do everything the world tells you to do. Follow me on Facebook and Instagram

2020 turned many people’s lives around in the blink of an eye. We see a surge of women of all ages and stages of their life-supporting their families with a home business. I was more grateful than ever that I worked at home.
The more I researched and understood passive income, residual income, and multiple streams of income, the more I realized how important it was to link myself with a social selling company–but it had to be the RIGHT one.
After many failed attempts at building a social selling business, I found one that fit into my life. One day I questioned if the products were suitable for my family – then I opened two cabinets and noticed we use them from the laundry room to the bathroom, even in the gym out in the garage.
It’s a consumable product and doesn’t ask anyone to change their current habits or way of life. ONLY where they purchase them.
Your success and mine will always look different. Some people want enough to pay for the products they use others want much more. There is no right or wrong. The one that works for you is perfect.
I don’t have a bag of tricks. I have a bag of I am not quitting until…
Anyone can do this… not everyone will. I know because I am an anyone.
You don’t need extra talents, a bag of tricks, or special experience. Just the will to win no matter what that looks like for you.
