At 11:50 am on Monday, November 12th, 2018 Facebook crashed.
It may have affected you and it may not have.
Some people are building their business on Facebook alone and not adding any other tools to their systems.
My opinion…
That is crazy dangerous.
If Facebook disappeared today, I could still carry on my business. It would be different and it would be slower but I have systems in place to stay in touch with my clients, customers and prospects.
Do you?
I cringe when I see people use Facebook groups without adding the members to their email list or have another option to connect.
If you had to start over today what would your business look like?
Could you?
I know to do things the right way to build a solid business is harder, takes more of your time, it has a learning curve and it can be downright frustrating.
But…
If you added only one thing to your business as simple as an email list to collect contacts you can save yourself from starting over from scratch.
Do you have too?
No.
Stop for one minute and think about your business and how it is running. If you cut your main source of communication off what would it look like?
Facebook crashed and was down for 30 minutes.

It actually made me giggle when it happened because that was a serious reality check.
