How many times have you heard the phrase “Do what I say, not as I do.” That is not a phrase you want to be used in your network marketing team. In order to create duplication in your network, you have to lead from the front and show people how to take action. The last thing you want to do is drag people and pull people along.
People watch your actions and copy what you do. You can talk all day long but they will “hear” your actions.
Lead by Example
Tell your story. Show your new team members how to do what you have done in your business. Invite them to one of your own events whether it is online, a zoom call, in-person workshop, to let them see how it is done. Be the example, your team will follow you.
Get People Started Effectively
Getting people started the right way will make them feel welcome, understand the process and know they have support. Show them how to get their first paycheck fast. Let them see the simple systems you use to get them started so they feel they can do the same thing just as easy.
For my business customers or new members, they all get the same four things.
1 – Add them to the Facebook group
2 – Ask them to add their name to the team email list
3 – Give them access to the quick start welcome video
4 – Give them an assignment and once they have completed it – hop on the phone for a short chat.
The whole team can use this process so they don’t have to reinvent the wheel for their own teams. Get people plugged in and connected to the community.
Create a Culture of Speed
Show your new members how to build a business with a speed that has incentives at the end for them to reach. Teach them how to get a check in their hand as fast a possible and the simple steps to take once they have a new member.
Following these simple three steps, you can build a team of duplication. People don’t have to figure out what to do because they have a guideline to follow that is set up for them. The number one thing that holds people back from building their business fast is NOT KNOWING WHAT TO DO.
This teaches them speed and duplication.
