Punching the clock for Christmas

Did you have to punch the clock for Christmas? I worked for 21 and 1/2 – (don’t forget the half) on the floor at the hospital where I had to work most holidays. Christmas was the holiday everyone complained about the most. If the holiday fell on your weekend. You had to work the whole holiday and your days off were after everyone had traveled back home and the festivities were over. The holidays I did get off I had worked a 13 hour night shift the night before with little to no sleep before it was time to go visit family. Being exhausted in a crowd of loud people is far from enjoyable.

I moved from a night shift job to the dayshift when I took a position that allowed me to be off holidays which did make it better. The fun part of going to work on the holidays was the staff I worked with who all made the day as fun as possible for everyone who was on shift

Four years before I retired I made a decision I wanted to generate and income that allowed me to work at home. I was tired of working holidays dreading punching the clock to spend time with people that were acquaintances but not family. I always felt left out when I would see everyone’s pictures around the Christmas tree and eating the leftovers instead of sitting at the meal table.

I turned my honda pilot into a university for my drive to and from work. I had 45 minutes on the road driving so I listened to mindset training and to business products I bought.

On my one-hour lunch break, I called clients, or I would write the blog post on my smart phone and email them to myself to put on the blog when I got home. I used my breaks to check emails.

I wanted to learn all I could to be able to choose what clock I was hitting. I preferred it being the snooze on my alarm clock and not a time clock to get paid. I studied marketing, how to blog, and about my network marketing company. I needed skills that would make working from home possible.

Watch this 19 Minute Video as it tells the tale of how 200+ network marketers recently set sail on a 100 Day Journey to Freedom, and how many were able to MAKE SALES and MAKE MONEY for the first time, ever! It took me four years – it doesn’t have to take you that long. Click this link to get the video.

Most people who join network marketing are learning to build their business part time. It is something that is totally doable. It gets even easy when you have someone holding your hand and showing you the right path to take. One of the things that helped my business move from the turtle lane to the fast lane was coaching. Learning from someone who could guide me. Click this link to get the video.
