Getting Noticed Book Review

Getting noticed is on of the hardest skills to learn in network marketing. I would even guess the thing that makes people nervous about using social media is talking about themselves and what they do.

Some people even miss opportunity because they feel like no one wants to know about their business or their life. They will miss building business relationships by not sharing pictures and stories with their social media friends.

As a blogger, I share the ups and downs of what I do in business – how I am building along with the frustrations. It is by far not a straight line to success.

Lindsay Teague Moreno is in the same network marketing company as I am and she has had great success in the company jumping the ranks like spiderman. When I attended a company retreat for reaching a rank I bumped into her at the store on the farm in 2015.

She has that good energy vibe that I like in a person who is easy to connect with. Our conversation was super brief but I began following her on facebook that weekend.

She makes me laugh with her down home facebook post and her honest approach to who she is.

Her book went live on Amazon this week and hit #1 in her category in less than 48 hours (click on the book image to get one) called “Get Noticed” it is the first time in a long time I have sat up to read a book non-stop until midnight.

She makes you cry a little telling her story… but you love her because she is so frank and upfront about what she is good at and not so good at.

Her goal is to help moms who are out there and think they can’t run a business because they have kids, and run a house, but they are miserable in the space they are in. Moms don’t have time for the fluff. They need instructions on how to get it done in less time using the best tools possible.

Moms have limited time to get stuff done. If they are not folding clothes, cooking supper they are exhausted from being the kid’s taxi.

I liked Lindsay’s blogging approach as one blogger to another blogger.  When she started talking about social media and how to use it I am sure she could hear me talking to her from my home “YES YES YES!!!” She builds her business 100% online… the very things lots of leaders say it can’t be done.

I have built my business with a blog and social media so I know it can be done. Not as fast as Lindsay built but the party scene is not for me.

Get Noticed is a no fluff, no BS, take charge get shit done kind of book. She has built a team from zero to 300,000 online. There are skills to learn to build online but when someone says “it can’t be done” it lets me know that is not the method for them.
