I have built my business on my blog and social media. I spend thousands of dollars learning how to make all the spokes come together and work as a well-oiled machine. I wished I would have known about the “The 3 Minute Expert” when I got started. It teaches from the beginning of starting a blog to finding never ending content for your blog.

Even as a seasoned blogger I learned some pretty cool tips to add to my blogging routine that I saw results in the first blog post. There are two skills you must know and do to have a presence online.

Build your online presence

1. Your blog is your hub for your business, not facebook.

2. Building a list is your business, it is the income for your business

You own your blog post – and the content belongs to you. Social media is a spoke for your business. We don’t own the people we are connected to on facebook, Twitter or Instagram. We are not truly connected until they are on our list.

Do you know who is your target market is? How do you identify the problems of that target market? You can’t talk to everybody and get your message out. You can only speak to people you know and to the problem they have. Until you know the problem you can’t help them change it.

Create content that solves those problems on your blog is the key to building your online presence. In the three minute expert, Ray talks about how to read your client’s minds and provide the exact information they need to know.

Build your email list so you can talk to them over and over and build the relationship of trust and education.
