The Entrepreneur vs Employee Mindset

The Entrepreneur vs Employee Mindset journey…. I had no idea what I was getting into. I knew so little… no wait… I knew nothing when I got started. I was drawn to business like your nose is to the popcorn counter at the movie theater (smell it – LOL ). I have wanted my own business for 20 years. I was a single mom and knew what I was doing back then was not going to take me far so the adventure began.

I took the slow road because I didn’t know where to get the help or who was the person I wanted to follow. Over time I found coaches who gave me a nugget each and belief that I could do this. I knew I was gonna figure this out but I sure wanted it to be faster than it was going.

The Entrepreneur vs Employee Mindset

There are people who believe that life is what is in front of them and entrepreneurs are stupid for doing that MLM thing. I felt like I was crammed in a box with a small peep hole when I had a job. I could not be any more than the policies and procedures allowed me to be. The administration frowned on people trying to get out of the box and knocked people back down when they tried to move up.

Inspirational Words for Success: on this journey I have maxed out my Visa card… not once but several times. Wondering how in the hell I would pay them off knowing I didn’t have a big income in results to show for what I was doing. I always said, “I will figure it out.”

Qualities of Successful Entrepreneurial mindset has five factors

#1 I thought getting a  coach would make things “easy” it didn’t.
#2 I learned something… I applied what I learned. I still struggled.
#3 I didn’t want to quit and I cussed a lot. Pulled my hair…
#4 took long walks to breath and think
#5 Came back with an idea.

Characteristics of an Entrepreneur mindset definition of success is….
“I will persist until I succeed” – Og Mandino

“I’ll keep growing until” – Jim Rohn

But the one I chose for today is simply “I’ll figure this out”.

When the going gets tough you will find out how built for business you are. Some people will whine, complain and say this doesn’t work. Stop wishing for it to be so easy that you don’t have to learn anything new. Stop trying to be so cheap that you don’t pay for classes you need, or events you need to attend. You have to spend money on your business. Period end of story!

Instead of complaining adopt this phrase, “I WILL FIGURE THIS OUT!”
