On Black Friday we had a few technical difficulties. As promised the discount are still being added to the Social Media Profits – and actually I slashed it again.
I am very passionate about people learning how to use social media for their business. It is not hard – it is about being consistent.
If your connections on social media see you as selling without building relationships, they’ll like you about as much as you like those car salespeople.
You know you need to build relationships on social media. But it’s not always as easy as it seems.
Especially when you’re new to growing your business, or you are feeling desperate about making ends meet, it’s easy to think that you won’t sell enough if you aren’t mentioning your products or services on social media every single time you post.
But strangely enough – people can sense your desperation, and if every post has even a “cleverly disguised” reference to buying your stuff, you’ll drive your prospective customers away instead of pulling them closer.
So how do you build relationships on social media?
The 2 Critical But Often Overlooked Steps for Building Real Relationships on Social Media
(Without Spending All Day Online)
Let’s say you’re spending all day on social media, but your business has nothing to show for it.
(How do I know? Because I see so many people falling into this trap!)
Using social media to build your relationships online doesn’t take more time. It takes more planning and more boundaries.
Planning – This is critical. You need to approach social media relationship building by first being clear about the value you bring to your ideal customer. Then use social media to deliver that value with a strategy that leaves your customers wanting more.
Boundaries – This flows from planning. Once you’ve planned, you need to figure out how much time you’ll spend and when you’ll spend that time. Whether by using a timer or an app, you need to know when you’ll walk away from social media and either go live life or go do other income generating activities. Your social media plan must include when you’ll put it into place and when you’ll walk away and do the other things that build your brand and your income.
I want to show you how to Create a Social Media Action Plan for Building BETTER Relationships in LESS TIME than you’re Spending Now.
