It is spring and that means baseball for our family. If you follow me on facebook you know we are on the go. Last week I was able to be in my my office one hour the rest was mobile marketing. The remainder of time we were at a ball park cheering on my favorite pitchers. Over the weekend was the beginning of the next young pitchers career in our family. My youngest son began pitching for his travel team, the poor fellow was so nervous I thought he was going to puke before we got there. He said “Mom let’s just go home I don’t want to do this.”
Good ole mom says “take some deep breaths and relax” I knew he was going to do fine. The back of my Honda Pilot was full of coolers, chairs, umbrella’s and baseball bags but the one bag that we needed the most at that moment was the essential oils bag. Selecting the peace and calming I added one drop to the palm of his hand to inhale. Then rubbed back of his neck and wrist. In a few minutes he was feeling at ease.
The first game they got their tails beat in the 4th inning with the run rule. He came over and said “Mom….it didn’t work.”
Game two out of three for the day began …the boys were down… not a little but a lot. Their hearts were crushed the attitudes were low. Standing in the dugout the coach read the positions “Milo…your pitching.” He panicked “MOM!” from the dugout…. “Grab the Peace and Calming!!“
Dad hustled to the dugout without the first aid kit but a bottle of essential oil to help him relax and think clearer to pitch his 1st travel ball game. It was only a few minutes he ask for more… but this time dad had the idea of adding it to the thumb of his baseball glove so every time he was set on the pitching mound it would pass by his nose for aromatherapy.

The very first ball he threw was a strike! Was it the oil? Was it because he relaxed? Was it because he has the skill? He said, “Mom it worked!” The rest really doesn’t’ matter to me.
Why did I get into a business after working as a nurse for 25 years in mental health?
For days and times just like this. Oh yes I hit my goal a long time ago for making $500 a month – that was all I was looking for at the time I got started. My priority was to spend more time with my family, Actually I wanted to make $500 -$1000 extra month that would cover travel baseball expenses.
That was it…just enough to pay for baseball.
My passion without hesitation was to see my boys have what they needed and supply them with the best baseball equipment. Demarini bats, Under Armor accessories, boombah bats bags, Nike pitch glove, hotel expenses and the list goes on. They were my focus…and they were what I begin my journey for.Trust me… when you see a group of 10 years old sniffing a bottle of Peace and Calming at a game and see them hit the field ready to play ball, with moms and dads cheering them on from the stands… THAT my friend is what makes my life smile from ear to ear. It is not in the bottle – or the bank account…it is in the memories we are creating that will last forever. With my business in the stands with me on my iphone and ipad the only thing I have left to say is PLAY BALL !!

I too am trying to start an online business. I love my young living oils, but am VERY shy so have trouble speaking in front of people. Everyone else I know has the idea that you can’t start a young living business online, but I truly believe I can. I have a blog that I started and I’m on facebook as well as twitter. Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated 🙂
