This week tell a nurse Thank you!
with that said…
Apps are Turning Your Phone Into a Virtual Urgent Care Center
The use of mobile and social is Rising!
26% of Hospitials are using social media 60% of Doctors say it is improving the patient health to have faster access.
45% of the patients share their satification through social media and more is positive than negative.
80 – 90% say they research the hospital and doctors before making an appointment to hear other people’s view of the care.
A lot of medical conditions require much more detail and dialogue between the patient and physician, In many cases it doesn’t substitute for an in-person visit. Plus the web may not always be the best place to go for a diagnosis however people want information and that is where they go.
I have to admit before I made the appointment for today’s visit I researched the Doctor online – I found he was using facebook, and he gives his patients his email address and a phone number to reach him if he doesn’t reply to the email quick enough on his days off. I was pretty impressed.
When I left the clinic the first thing I wanted to do was look for the Twitter account or the clinics social form and let them know I thought they were awesome. I like to tell people who take good care of me thank you – and sharing it in a public place like Twitter allows other people to know.
Come and post on my facebook wall –https://www.facebook.com/AngelaBrooksBiz I want to know…
Do you look for information about your health on the internet?
Do you research information about your doctor? or hospital?
Have you download a health app to your smart phone?
Until then…
