Jennifer, my daughter, was full of life and always had a smile on her face. I made sure that I kept her as healthy as possible so when that cure arrived, she would benefit from it. I always cooked every meal as I was very interested in good nutrition and I knew it was so important that she get the nutrients of good wholesome food on a daily basis. Exercise and sports were very important in our family and was a benefit to keep her lungs as strong as possible. We were told that CF patient’s, at that time, only lived on an average of 15 years. Well, that wasn’t going to happen to my daughter!

Jennifer grew up to be a inspiring lady and graduated college with a market degree. She worked at Hewitt and Associates for her first job, but could not keep up physically. She received her real estate license and insurance license, but had to retire at a early age because of her health. She married the love of her life and took great care of herself!

I got into the health and wellness network marketing business to be able to share good nutrition with others. My husband was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer in 2012 with a diagnosis of 6 months to live. Without the nutritional benefits my company makes, I’m sure he wouldn’t have lasted as long. It will be 4 years this March and he is doing better than others in his position. My daughter was put on a transplant list June 5, 2015 and lost her battle on December 5, 2015.

Because of the courageous person my daughter was, I will keep working to help others by sharing my story and educating people of the benefits of good nutrition. I wish you all much happiness and health!

WOW! What a story – you have over come so much – keep going you have a purpose

About half of my nursing career has been in Hospice, where I worked in admissions, as a case manager, as a liaison nurse, and as director of professional services. I loved being there for the terminally ill to offer comfort and support in their final days. What a rare privilege it was to be able to offer care, practical solutions and a team of professionals to meet their needs. One hospice agency I worked for utilized aromatherapy as an alternative treatment modality. We also employed pet therapy, message therapy, music therapy, and art therapy.

While working as a nurse, I raised 4 children single handedly with the help of the Lord and a little help from my friends. It was a juggling act, especially with twins. When the twins were 2 year old and the older children 10 and 12, we were in a serious automobile accident. None of the children were hurt, thank goodness. I was wedged in the driver’s seat and was extracted with the “jaws of life”. Family and friends picked up the children and I was hospitalized for 10 days. Every attempt was made to repair my crushed knee joint, but all failed. I went on the national donor’s waiting list for the necessary part of my knee joint and received it later the following year. I used Melaleuca alternifolia on the many surgical scars. Since then I have had many other surgeries including two total knee replacements. These were hard times but nothing I didn’t handle.

I married again, this time to my best friend Samuel Joseph Roser, a retired Air Force JAG Lt. Colonel. I have been a Registered Nurse for the last 30 years, most recently as a certified case manager providing patient education, support and resources via telephone, computer, and mail from my home office. As rewarding as the work was, I missed the human contact in my practice.

Then, in spring of 2013, I was diagnosed with invasive ductal breast cancer. “This could not be happening to me!” I thought. “I take care of patients with cancer…” With a huge case load, cancer, treatments and the admonition to “reduce the stress” in my life, I took a medical leave. I underwent surgeries and chemotherapy. The disease and treatments took their toll and all treatment was suspended due to my deteriorating health. I became dependent on supplemental oxygen 24/7. I was told I had pulmonary fibrosis or “scarred lungs” as well as COPD, and lung nodules.

During this time my daughter in law began diffusing essential oils at my bedside. I became stronger and healthier as the oils were diffused. I began using more essential oils and other complementary and alternative health practices. As I started to feel better and improve, I felt the need to get busy again and do something to make a contribution. About this time I came across Angela Brooks Facebook pages and other social media sites. Our stories have some similarities. So I wrote to her, she responded, and the rest is history. After becoming a Young Living Member on Angela Brooks’ team, I started using “Breathe Again”. Since using this product, I no longer require oxygen.

While I was a Liaison nurse I did lots of “marketing”, providing “Lunch & Learn” in-services to educate staff on the Medicare Hospice benefit and the medical and social criteria necessary to have a patient admitted to hospice. This is one type of marketing a service/product. Now we are doing “network marketing” and “Social Media marketing”, very different from the old school ways. We are able to reach out to many more people in need with beneficial products to enhance and improve their lives.

If I can do this with the challenges I faced, I know anyone can. The only thing holding you back is you. Let your journey begin here and now.

Me join a network marketing company? Brrr, no thanks! Asking my family and friends to consider my products or to host home parties just wasn’t for me. I was looking for a change, but what should I do? With aging parents on one hand, and two teens on the threshold of college on the other, finding a profession that could pay better than my grammar school teaching job was of interest to me. But what to do?

After several health and injury issues were wonderfully resolved with essential oils, I was surprised to learn that they were sold via network marketing. After exploring the product company further and doing research on their method of sales, I realized that network marketing is really just a simple way to market and distribute products. Everything that is sold en masse today has some sort of marketing and distribution channel, and those channels get paid. In network marketing, individuals rather than large entities, are paid to do the hard work of marketing and distributing the product. Like any business, network marketing can be conducted with integrity and provide clients with fabulous service and premium products.

Around this time, I heard of Angela Brooks from a free training site. She said that the network marketing business I was considering could be done completely online without home parties or tapping into our circle of family and friends. Was this truly possible? Could I sell just to those people who wanted, needed, and could afford my product? That sounded about right to me! I took the plunge.

So today I am building my network marketing business online through social media. It’s a steep learning curve for this paper and pencil teacher, but I’m loving the challenge, the freedom to work from home or on the go, and the chance to serve others while making a living!

Then I found Young Living Essential Oils. I’d tried other essential oils before, but something about Young Living was different. First, it was the quality of the oils that I noticed. I’d never seen something work so quickly and so dramatically. And then, when I saw the compensation plan was actually doable, I thought, I’m in.

So, I thought about how much it cost to get started and realized, the product quality is there, the company quality is there, if there was a possibility that it could really work for me, then it would be worth a lot more than what they were asking.

I started off with a bang because I found that people actually wanted my product without me twisting their arm. So now I’m doing what I’ve always dreamed of doing, having my own business, setting my own hours, making great money and helping other people do the same. It really is my dream come true.
