Does your personality type work well with what you are doing?

by Angela Brooks

I cannot tell you how many days I drove to work and felt like my  personality was getting in a cage for the day.
I enjoyed doing parts of my job but not all of it. It did not match my personality which started causing me to feel depressed, gained weight, headaches, shoulder pain, lower back pain.

Like most people they hang onto a job because of the benefits and the money. I had looked for other jobs but the benefits didn’t match or the pay scale. I didn’t want to make less money but I wanted to have more control over my time.

Everyone talks about “someday” and “one day”. “If only” but they rarely do anything to make things happen to cause the change. The American dream is different for everyone. Some people simple want $500 a month extra – like I did when I got started. I just needed that much to get over hump.

Others want to travel and see the world – me not so much. I have places I want to go visit and a few adventures too, but I love home.
My focus was to be in control my time – To put my families needs first.

What does your dream life look like?
