Angela is passionate about helping others achieve optimum health. She has that special drive that enables her to meet any challenge given. ~Karen BrooksAlthough I’ve been in business for 20 years when I joined Angela Brooks’ team I was completely new to direct sales. I can think of no better leader to be affiliated with and learn from. She is continuously giving and sharing her extensive wealth of knowledge and expertise whether it is about essential oils or how to use social media to build our business. She tirelessly encourages those on her team to work to their full potential and to be all they can be. Not only is Angela a dynamic businesswoman she is a caring and generous woman.” Kim Starry
Angela is a hard working mental health nurse leading the way in her Young Living Essential Oils business. Working part time from her iPhone she is a dedicated mom and wife, business leader and friend who loves her life. I would recommend Angela for her tenacity and work ethic.” Carla J Gardiner Angela is an amazing team leader. She has gone above and beyond in providing the tools that I need to be successful with Young Living. She is a Social Media rock star!” Christi Daugherty “Angela is a great leader who likes to see others excel. She is kind and is able to help people feel better. She is knowledgable about what she does” Carol Hazeldine There have been a lot of changes at the Hospital over the past two decades. One aspect that has been consistently the same is that an exceptional nurse, Angela Brooks, has provided excellent patient care at our hospital for 21 years. There are nurses that I would define as a nurse because that is their profession, and then there are nurses like Angela Brooks. She is not just a nurse because that is her trade; she is a nurse because of who she is. Within these walls she considers nursing care to be whatever the patient needs, not limited to the “scope of nursing”. She is compassionate, caring, and reaches out to support people whether she is on the clock, at home, or at a baseball game. Her character is spiritual, wholesome, and calming. I have seen co-workers, patients, and I myself have come to her when something is weighing heavily on our minds. Her interpersonal communication is always honest, forthcoming, and full of wisdom. I have had the pleasure of working with Angela for four years. Throughout these years she has been a Google search bar for SOPs, supportive, and an astounding nursing role model. Her character, experience, and wisdom makes certain she will excel in whatever she does. She is tremendous asset to the staff and patients at our facility. April Huycke BSN RN
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Angela Brooks. I came to know Angela through my employment at the Hospital. Angela and I have worked together at various times and on different units of the hospital. It’s nice having a competent nurse like her with whom to work. I know the job will be done correctly and in a timely manner.Angela has always done a good job of caring for our patients. Being a Psychiatric Hospital, there are times when the patients can become stressful. She has always been therapeutic and respectful of the patients that we cared for. Angela brings more to the job than just the skills as an nurse. She is also knowledgeable when it comes to computer skills and the computer programs we use. Angela has always been willing to help others when there’s a question about these areas. I am confident that Angela will do a great job in any position that she is hired for. Sincerely, Karen Graham, RN
My name is Stephanie Harris . I am a RN at the State Hospital. I have had the privilege of working with Angela Brooks for over a year now. She is not only a great nurse; she is a beautiful person inside, always treating co-workers and patients with respect. I believe Angela goes above and beyond her call of duty and would be a great asset in teaching others. Thank you for taking the time from your busy schedule to read this because Angela is one of a kind and would be a great team player. Stephanie Harris RN
Mrs. Brooks has experience in handling people from different walks of life and social backgrounds without showing bias. She works well under pressure and shows poise and calmness in volatile situations. In the years of working with Mrs. Brooks her ability to teach her peers is extraordinary both that she possess the knowledge to do so and that she exhibits such caring attitude to desire to help new employees. Her caring and integrity she shows with peers overflows and is evident in her patient care. I believe that Mrs. Brooks would be an asset to any establishment. She would also benefit from broader range of opportunities for career growth. Sincerely, Heather Caraway RN

It’s been many years since Angela & I worked together, but there are 2 things that come to mind when I recall those years. #1. She showed compassion for both her patients and her co-workers Both compassion and humor are essential when working in such a high stress field. Thanks for giving me some smiles to look back on. Best wishes in any future endeavors. Laurie Barkman
I have known Angela for 18 years. She’s articulate, motivated and trustworthy. She also has high expectations of herself and of those close to her, while at the same time being willing to accept people as they with unconditional positive regard.
I have worked with Angela for several years and she is an excellent nurse. Not only was she highly self energized, eager and willing to learn, she was also and remains very intuitive when it comes to quickly understanding our patients wants and needs and how to best help them meet their medical needs. Marsha Ramey This is my personal recommendation for Angela Brooks, I have had the opportunity to work with Ms. Brooks for over 13 years at a state psychotic hospital. During that time Ms. Brooks has always displayed a competent and caring attitude towards her patients and her staff. I first met Ms. Brooks in 1998 when I had just started as an aide at the hospital. Ms. Brooks was the Nurse where I was assigned. Angela took the time to explain how to interact with the patients through therapeutic communication. She knew all of her patients as individual people and taught me to see beyond the illness to the person for whom I was caring. Through encouragement and humor, Ms. Brooks increased my awareness of personal safety and increased by knowledge of how to interpret the rules and regulations that govern hospital work. Ms. Brooks made sure that I never lost sight of our purpose – to care for those who are unable care for themselves. In 2001, I returned to the state psychiatric hospital as a Registered Nurse. Again I was assigned to work on the same floor as Ms. Brooks. At first, I was unsure how to proceed because now I was in charge of a lady who had more experience and more knowledge of nursing and psychiatric conditions than I. Once again, through encouragement and humor, Angela made my transition from aide to Registered Nurse seamless. She took the time to explain my new role and responsibilities to me. Ms. Brooks role-modeled patience and assertiveness and taught me how to take charge without alienating those in my care. Ms. Brooks is dedicated to her work, her patients, and her staff. She has a positive attitude and an excellent work ethic. She believes in the possibilities of every human being and helps every human being to believe in his or her own possibilities.
