I once read a great Halloween article in the NYTimes about somebody who grew up in a haunted house. He and his siblings were regularly spooked by the ghosts in various parts of the house. But the mother, who still lives there happily today as she had been all along, never got bothered by any of them!
I just moved into a 120 year old house. I wonder if I'll have some stories to share soon!

Hey there,

You, Angela, are an inspiration to me. Although I am not in nursing, your real life stories inspire me to be all I can be, in what I do every day.

Thank you for pulling that out in me, for me:)

As I take part in the online classes with you and Sandi Krakowski, I am amazed at the ease with which you bring your personality to the web. Just want you to know I am watching and learning from you every day.

Anyone who has the opportunity to work side by side with you is blessed.

To Your Success,
Carla J Gardiner

I finally found time to read this and it was so touching. I don't know if I have angels to watch over me but I know that being a nurse is a calling from God. A lot of us older nurses know what we mean be a calling to be a nurse. I wish some of the new grads could understand that and realize that we are not here for the money that we make but the compassion, caring and loving that we feel for our patients. I miss the old ways of nursing but you have to learn the new things to be able to move on.
