A little dab will do ya
Is that how you are living your life? A little dab of this and a little dab of that? Just enough to say your dabbling.
Dabblers are usually called hobbyist and never turn what they love to do into a money making business.
At the beginning of the month my oldest son moved to college 4 hours away. In 18 years I have never gone that long without seeing him.
We text daily – talk often and I pray alot.
In the transition period of the first two weeks my business thinking was less than focused and my mind was not on social media as much as it was on my son… life… and such a big change.
The funny part…. my business still grew and I reached my highest numbers in business!
How did that happen?
My branding… I was honest with people on social media and I received a lot of support from moms around the globe telling me their story about the empty nest feelings they went through when their kids moved to college. I was just me… and I shared my story of change and growth at the same time. I talked about the oils I diffused to help me with the foggy brain and sad mom feelings.
I basically took the week off even though I was dabbling in my office without much focus.
This week I am opening a call with a young lady I met in a business event who is a branding wonder. She and I talked and connected the first time we met when I spoke at a live event presentation on Twitter – not her favorite social media tool until she saw how I used it (by the way you will get that free with this call)
